Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Engineered flooring is a popular alternate to hardwood flooring. It is made up of multiple layers of plywood and usually a 3/16” veneer layer of finished wood as the top finish layer. Engineered hardwood flooring is designed to go on all grade levels of your house. Especially in the basement were there are moisture problem engineered flooring outperforms solid wood floors. Engineered flooring can be glued down to concrete slab or stapled down over a wooden sub floor. It can also be installed over other hard surface like tile or vinyl flooring.
